Calls for the Government to pump more funding into the creative sector - which already injects $17.5 billion to the country s GDP and supports 131,000 jobs - could have big spinoffs for the Bay.
Heavyweights in the creative sector, which encompasses game development, animation, design and performing arts, say it is evolving at pace.

I wanted to slander someone.
My colleague Kashmir Hill and I were trying to learn who is responsible for and profiting from the growing ecosystem of websites whose primary purpose is destroying reputations.
So I wrote a nasty post. About myself.
Then we watched as a constellation of sites duplicated my creation. To get slander removed, many people hire a reputation management company. In my case, it was going to cost roughly US$20,000 (NZ$27,721).

The regional GDP of Northwest China s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region grew 12.1 percent year-on-year to about 340.25 billion yuan ($52.43 billion) in the first quarter of 2021, showing an upward start for the whole year, data from local statistics bureau showed on Monday.
The added value of the region s primary industry reached about 12.6 billion yuan, up 3.2 percent year-on-year, while that of the secondary industry reached some 131.7 billion yuan, an annual increase of 16.8 percent.
